Next time your kids lose interest in a shiny silver party balloon, don’t throw it away. This lightweight reflective material shimmers with the slightest breeze, resists decomposition and holds up in any kind of weather. Simply cut the balloon in ribbons about an inch wide and tie them to your trees, shrubs or garden fence.
