		<description>i disagree with them beeing banned. it's true that are invasive but still it's not fair if someone would like to have it so won't be able to have it's not freedom anymore.</description>

		<description>It seems that, in the case of discontinuing the cultivation of Japanese Barberry, closing the barn door after the horse got out is absolutely necessary.  Japanese Barberries, in addition to being highly invasive, carry black stem rust, a fungus which also affects wheat and other related agricultural crops.  Discontinuing cultivation would not only help stop threatened populations of native plants and ecosystems, but help to secure our food supply.  Please be responsible - I am also a gardener and love ornamental plants, but sometimes can settle for a great photo rather than the actual plant.</description>
